Congratulations to HNO’S 2024-2025 Volunteer of the Year, Chris Larrett!

Chris has been an invaluable member of our community, dedicating his time and energy to the Norwest Minor Hockey Association for the past 14 years.

Chris’s contributions are numerous and impactful. He has served on the board for 14 years, including 5 years as president, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment. Additionally, Chris has spent 12 years coaching hockey, mentoring countless young athletes and fostering a love for the sport. His passion lies in developing young athletes into responsible young adults, on and off the ice. Even though he no longer has his own child on the team, Chris continues to dedicate his time and energy to this passion.

Beyond his official roles, Chris’s dedication to the Norwest community is evident in his everyday actions. He helps maintain the hockey arena, ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming space for all. His pride in Norwest is also visible through the Norwest hub caps on his truck and the Norwest decorations in his garage, symbolizing his unwavering support and enthusiasm.
